Terms & Conditions

1.  Definitions

1.1     “PPD” means the Registered Australian Business trading as PPD, A.B.N. 59834058505.

1.2     “Customer” means the party placing an order for the purchase of goods or services from PPD.

1.3     “An Order” refers to an order for goods or services.

 

2.  Terms and Conditions

2.1    These Terms and Conditions apply to all dealings between the parties PPD and the Customer, and the Customer agrees to adhere to these Terms and Conditions and agrees that they prevail over any other verbal, implied or written conditions, whether verbal, implied or written to the extent permitted by law.  These Terms and Conditions may be changed by PPD from time to time and the then current version of the Terms and Conditions shall be binding upon the Customer in relation to future dealings with PPD.

 

3.  Quotations

3.1    All quotations are based upon work requested from the client and are valid for a period of 14 days from the date on the quotation.

 

4.  Orders

4.1    The Customer must place a written or verbal order setting out full details of all of their requirements.

4.2    PPD will not be responsible for any mistakes that may be attributable to insufficient or lack of details when placing the order.

4.3    The Customer will be required to pay for such goods ordered by mistake.

4.4    Cancelled orders will require the Customer to make payment to compensate PPD for all materials used or specially acquired to complete the order, and all work done up until the date of the cancellation.

4.5     Orders cancelled prior to commencement of any work will not incur any charge.

 

5.  Payment

5.1    Once the work is completed, PPD shall invoice the customer for the quoted value of the work plus any additional charges that have occurred to enable the work to be completed to meet the Customer's requirements.

5.2    All Invoices shall be paid COD unless other arrangements have been made with PPD.

5.3    PPD may, at its sole discretion, request a deposit before commencement of any work.

 

6.  Liability

6.1    To the fullest extent permitted by the law, except as provided herein, PPD shall not be liable to the Customer for consequential loss or damage of any kind arising out of the supply of the goods and/or services.

6.2    PPD will not be liable to the customer for loss, howsoever caused, of any data stored on any form of electronic   media supplied by the customer.

6.3    PPD will take no responsibility for any colour variations from on screen artwork, variations between the front and back of the printed product and previous orders. This is the nature of CMYK printing.

6.4    PPD will take no responsibility for any errors overlooked in artwork provided by PPD once approved by the Customer. In addition, PPD will take no responsibility for any errors in a Customer's supplied artwork.

6.5    Trimming of printed products may shift up to 3mm in any direction therefore PPD will take no responsibility for this affecting the overall look of the finished printed product.

 

7.  Copyright

7.1    It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that any materials supplied to PPD for the purpose of use in printed materials or services do not breach relevant copyright legislation.  PPD accepts no responsibility for any copyright issues.

 

8.  Electronic Media

8.1    All Disks & Electronic files (other than that supplied by the customer) to remain the property of PPD.  Any request from the Customer to supply this information shall be left to the discretion of PPD.

 

9.  Deliveries

9.1     All representations by PPD as to the date and/or time for delivery are made in good faith, but are not guaranteed.  All representations are made in good faith, in the light of conditions and circumstances that are known to PPD at the time.

9.2    PPD accepts no responsibility for any late or failed delivery.

9.3    PPD shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered during transit of the goods to the Customer.

9.4    Should urgent delivery, requested by the Customer, require overtime work or other additional costs to be incurred, additional charges may be applied by PPD to cover such costs, with the prior agreement of the customer.

 

10.  Privacy and Security

10.1    All information supplied to PPD by the Customer is private and confidential. PPD does not gather or compile any information in any form for third parties.

 

11.  Law

11.1     These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland.
